What can I do while I visit Porcupine Peak?

Activities include strolling through the farm, walking the labyrinth or hiking the mountain, reading, playing board games, spending time with family or friends, swimming both in the pools near your cottage or perhaps braving the dam, catch-&-release Bass fishing and for groups: a make-your-own pizza meal in our traditional pizza oven. Bookings essential!  

Most importantly we recommend simply soaking up the magnificent surroundings and taking time to enjoy the peaceful, quiet and relaxation of farm life.

If looking for a camping getaway, our campsite is situated near the dam.  There are private ablutions and although there is no electricity, we can offer an extension cable, depending on the demand. 

There are a variety of things to do in the area, including kloofing, tractor rides and nature trails, on foot or bike. Montagu's golf course, bicycle tours, hot springs and restaurants are 40 kms away and the well-known Aquila Game Farm, offering the Big Five, is only 50kms away, making Porcupine Peak an excellent, and much more affordable, accommodation option.
